Risk disclaimer
This page states plainly what this site is not, because the subject sits close enough to people's money that vagueness would be irresponsible.
This is not financial advice
Everything published here is general educational information. It is not investment advice, not a personal recommendation, and not tailored to your circumstances. Blackriver Fintech OÜ is not authorised to provide investment services in any jurisdiction and does not do so.
If you are deciding what to do with a meaningful amount of money, speak to someone qualified and regulated where you live.
Crypto-assets are high risk
- They can go to zero. Tokens described here may become worthless, may never become tradeable at all, and are not covered by any deposit guarantee or investor compensation scheme.
- They are largely unregulated. If a project fails, absconds or simply stops, there is usually no authority that will make you whole.
- Liquidity can vanish. A token that trades today may be impossible to sell tomorrow if its single exchange delists it.
- Transactions are irreversible. There is no chargeback. A transfer to the wrong address, or to a fraudster, is final.
The specific risks of "free" schemes
Beyond price risk, the schemes described here carry risks of their own:
- Identity disclosure. Most require biometric or document verification. Biometric data cannot be reissued after a breach. This is the real price of a free token and we say so on every relevant page.
- Time. Daily claiming, sustained over years, has in several cases produced amounts that did not repay the effort at any hourly rate.
- Scams built on the concept. The volume of fraud attached to airdrops and free-token schemes is very high. See how those scams work and the wallet guide.
No price predictions
We publish none, and we treat those we encounter as fiction regardless of source. Nobody knows what a token will be worth, and confident claims otherwise are a marketing technique.
Accuracy and dates
Every page shows when it was last reviewed and lists its sources. These projects change without notice. Check the official source before you act on anything here.
If you think you have been defrauded
Report it to the police or national fraud reporting service where you live, and to the platform where it happened.
Do not engage with anyone who offers to recover your funds. Recovery services targeting crypto fraud victims are, with vanishing few exceptions, a second fraud aimed at the same person. Nobody can reverse a blockchain transaction.
