Privacy & cookies

This policy explains what personal data this site processes, why, on what legal basis, and what you can require us to do about it. The controller is Blackriver Fintech OÜ — full company details are on the imprint page.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation is Blackriver Fintech OÜ, Ruunaoja tn 3, 11415 Tallinn, Estonia, registration 16475432. For any privacy matter write to [email protected]. We have not appointed a data protection officer as we are not required to; your request reaches the people who can act on it.

2. Visiting the site

Our web server records standard access data in log files: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer and user agent. This is necessary to operate and secure the service — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, legitimate interest in a working, attack-resistant website. Entries are deleted or aggregated after 30 days.

This site has no accounts, no comment system, no newsletter and no contact form. If you email us, we hold that correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it.

3. Cookies

The pages themselves set no cookies. We run no analytics that profiles you across sites.

4. Advertising

This site may display contextual advertising served by a third-party network. Where it does, that network may set cookies or read device identifiers in order to serve and measure advertising, and it acts as a controller in its own right for that processing.

Where consent is required for such processing — which in the EEA and the UK it generally is — it will be requested through a consent interface before any advertising cookie is set, and you may refuse or later withdraw consent without losing access to any content on this site. Nothing here is behind a paywall or a consent wall.

You can also limit personalised advertising in your Google account settings at myadcenter.google.com and through your browser's cookie controls.

5. Who else sees your data

Our hosting provider processes server log data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. An advertising network, where advertising is displayed, processes data as described above. We do not sell personal data, and we do not transfer it outside the EEA except where a provider offers appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your data (Art. 15), correction (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), portability (Art. 20), object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21), and withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)).

Write to [email protected]. We answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — for us the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), or the authority where you live.

7. Security

The site is served exclusively over TLS. It stores no user accounts and holds no financial data of any kind. We will never ask you for a wallet seed phrase, private key or password — see the wallet guide.

8. Changes

We update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top reflects the current version.
